Could the sax save a species?

Meridian Energy.

Meridian work with the Department of Conservation in trying to renew the endangered kākāpō. With just 147 birds left, they needed a little help breeding, so we put the call out for a saxophonist to create a piece of music to get the birds "in the mood". Although Kenny G never responded to our plea, his sister did like my tweet and the kākāpō had a successful breeding season thanks to New Zealand’s Piers Dashfield. Result*.
