For a country of roughly the same size and population as New Zealand, Norway sure has us licked on electric vehicles. While we are ahead on many measures, the cunning Scandies have around twenty times as many EVs as we do, so Meridian Energy hit back. Continuing their long-running support of electric cars Meridian launched a campaign to encourage Kiwis to take on Norway in an electric vehicle challenge.

Three years later General Motors released this spot, I like to think they saw ours first.
